I have taught Chinese language in secondary schools in Hong Kong for many years, and I also served as the Vice Chairlady of the Student Growth Committee and the chairlady of External Relations. I am delighted to continue working in the field of Chinese education after relocating to Calgary. Currently, I serve as a secretary at the school, responsible for administrative work and assisting teachers in preparing teaching materials. It is truly gratifying to see children who initially did not understand a word of Chinese, gradually communicate with me in Chinese under the guidance of teachers. I am sincerely thankful for the dedication of all the teachers.
Shouldering the mission of promoting Chinese culture and language in an English-speaking environment is indeed challenging! However, with the concerted efforts of the board of directors, principal, teachers, and staff, we are doing our utmost in Chinese education, which carries significant importance!
